Cycling in France

Welcome to the Seek Travel Ride’s pages about cycling in France. We understand that planning a trip can be overwhelming and time-consuming, which is why we’re here to help you every step of the way. Below you will find links to a range of information designed to take the stress out of planning a cycling holiday in France.

We first travelled to France for a cycling holiday in 2013 and were hooked by what the country had to offer. We subsequently visited another 4 times before setting up base here in 2021. Over the past 10 years, we have learned a lot about cycling in France and the goal of this website is to be able to share our experiences with others so they can plan their own cycling holiday here in France.

Our goal is to make Seek Travel Ride a one-stop shop when it comes to information about planning a holiday in France. You will find lots of general information about visiting France as well as cycling-specific information. We want to appeal to anyone who wants to ride a bike in France and we have information about road cycling, cycle touring and leisure cycling.

We are continually adding more and more information to the site as we explore new destinations ourselves so be sure to check out our Articles for new information about destinations and travelling with a bike.

If you are on Facebook consider joining our Cycling in France group. It’s a private group where people can ask questions and share their experiences about the practicalities of cycling in France. The group is open to anyone visiting France with some questions so consider joining.
