SeekTravelRide.com is your one stop shop for everything about travelling to France and cycling in what is an amazing destination. The site covers all the things you need to consider whilst preparing for your trip, as well as lots of practical ride information. Even if you have no intention of riding a bike, there is still lots of useful information about travelling to France for any type of holiday.
The focus of the site at present is primarily on road cycling and discovering the climbs and regions made famous by the Tour de France. Our goal is for SeekTravelRide.com to be the premier site when it comes to cycling holidays in Europe.
SeekTravelRide.com is based on our experience of visiting France numerous times from Australia and looking for information on where we should ride and stay. Our destination guides also include information about the types of activities non-cyclists can do as well.
We spent 14 years in the beautiful Snowy Mountains in Australia before making the big decision to sell everything, move to the other side of the world and start a web site. Keen cyclists we regularly travelled to France and quickly fell in love with the culture, the food and, above all, the cycling. As a result of introducing a number of friends to the same riding we enjoyed, and being told we should be helping others with their trips, we finally made the commitment to give it a go. Consequently, here we are.
Our experience online when planning our first trip was that lots of sites existed with some information, but there was no single site with everything. Our goal, therefore, is to create the best site online about cycling in France.
We also understand that your holiday planning doesn’t just involve cycling. To this end our site also provides you with plenty of non-cycling specific information which will help you plan your next trip.
