What’s life like as a full time bike traveller?

Since 2016, Helen has been travelling the world by bicycle full time. She is also unofficially the first solo female to cross Saudi Arabia by bicycle and it was interesting to hear her recount the adventures partaken in a country many of us know little about.

Her experiences have been many and varied and her zest for exploring new places and cultures are at the very heart of this lifestyle she has carved out for herself.I spoke to her about the practicalities of living life in this manner and what it’s been like to be a solo female traveller for so many years.
