Aix les Bains to Chambéry on the seperated cycle path

If you are after a family friendly activity then consider cycling from Aix les Bains to Chambéry. This cycling route utilises the ‘voie verte’ cycling greenway which makes for a very pleasant experience. This means it is extremely family friendly owing to it being off the road. It is a very popular cycling route in the warmer months and you of course have many options to detour off the cycle paths and discover other small villages such as Bourget du Lac which is at the southern most point of Lac du Bourget. The route is also relatively flat so a good option if you are after a recovery ride after harder efforts tackling the nearby Jura peaks.
