La Seine à Vélo- Cycle from Paris to the Sea

La Seine à Vélo is a new multi stage cycling route along the Seine valley from Paris all the way to La Havre and Deuville. Traversing a total distance of 430km / 270mi the route crosses 2 regions and 8 counties, passing through 130 towns as it traces the river Seine. Whether you want to cover the entire distance or just wish to take in a short section of the trail the route has been designed to make sure there is ample opportunity to stop and take in the many sights and attractions along the way. GPX files for the entire route are able to be downloaded directly to smartphones and trail signage is in the final stages of completion. Ederbedia cross border trail

From a trail in the North of the country to one in the South the newly opened Ederbedia cycling route is a fantastic way to take in the sights of the Basque country in the Pyrenees Atlantique. The Basque word Ederbedia translates in English to ‘beautiful path’ and this cross border trail connects the large French cities of Bayonne and Biarritz all the way to Pamplona in Spain with a total distance of just over 240kms / 150mi. It forms part of the larger Eurovelo Atlantic Coast route. More information can be found on the Ederbedia website.

2021 French Cyclosportifs

Unfortunately the COVID-19 situation is continuing to have an impact on the Cyclosportive calendar. The annual Paris Roubaix Challenge 2021 is the latest event which has unfortunately been cancelled.
